Celena appeared instantly. For someone who could go from one place to another in an instant, it was a mystery as to why she was ever late for anything.

*Sorry, I sorta forgot and ended up going to a movie.*

Celena realized after saying that, that she was talking to her boss.

*I mean i fell own the stairs. Uh-um.. anyway, let's begin. I'll have to see where you're at first before we can get into the big stuff like high speed flight training.*

Celena seriously overestimated where she thought he was, strength and skills wise and tossed a hard punch right to his nose.

Lina had filled in for Hide to handle the bulk of household activities that Hide neglected anyway. And such she had to keep a close eye on Victor who was recovering.

Lina: On the bright side, you look like you again. That's a plus.

Lina didn't appear to really care, she was a cat after all.

Lina: So why would you have someone that strong punch you in the face. Kinda dumb.

Lina offered him a piece of candy until she realized he couldn't eat it yet. This reminded her of when Eve got punched by Nadia. So much surgery to fix her jaw alone.

Lina started going over his files on her computer. Her tests were done while everyone wasn't aware. Mostly through nano-bacteria she invented. She had files on everyone.

Lina: I will advise you to not quit. She's simple yes, but she is strong. She has a type of strength that is very uncommon. Imagine a scenario where your stuck, face to face with something like her? I'm not saying you should aim to be as strong as her. By no means would that be beneficial. You should learn how to defend against someone like her, at least until you can turn the tides in your favor. It's far too often where the brilliant die pathetically to strength. Usually thanks to a snapped neck that anyone could do.

Lina would give him a diet to be most beneficial in working on defensive training.

Lina prepare a dose of an updated nano bacteria. This would give her a more precise look into... everyone.

Rina appeared suddenly.

Rina: Victor.... have you seen Speedie? I think he may be hiding from someone.

Rina had a knack for being rude to people in positions of authority.

Minerva reached from out of a portal and grabbed Rina by the hair.

Minerva pulled Rina into the portal and it disappeared.

Lan popped up, the moment he could move.

Lan: Hold on a second! Aria can kick your ass any day of the week if she wants to. I've seen her in action and I totally know she can. She can do some vicious, horrible, repulsive and really terrifying things to people in the blink of an eye.

Lan pointed a thumb at himself.

Lan: I bet I can kick your ass! And she's way stronger than me. So how about it. If I beat you, You have to do whatever I say for a day.

Lan was mad, mainly because he was jealous that he was on such friendly terms with her.

Lan spoke into his new watch.

Lan: We're gonna start it now.

Ann-Reed: Systems aren't complete, Overall progress at 35%.

Lan: Run whatever we have ready to go, then add stuff as they become available. Download L-C.

Ann-Reed: Securing download. Initiating digital conversion.

Lan was slowly converted for digital compatability. As he was, he was being fused with L-C. It took a full minute for the conversion and download to complete.

Lan:  Sorry Aria, but i'm fighting him. Don't try and stop me.

Ann-Reed: Conversion complete, but combat options are only 5%

Lan: I can punch and kick right? Then i'm fighting him. Keep me posted on other option.

Lan took on a fighting position, but his pose changed when L-C altered his stance for a more efficient one. He actually looked like he knew what he was doing. If everything so far didn't surprise everyone. He charged as expected, but he moved so fast, it was as if he were as fast as Aria. He threw a punch at Helios. Mid swing, L-C changed his hand into a cyber sword. Giving him more range and destructive power with his swing.

Lan winced from the hit but was surprised it didn't hurt nearly as much as he suspected it to.

Lan: Whoa, the defense must be full functional.

Ann-Reed: Defenses are only 22% online.

Lan: Whoa!, when why didn't that hurt more?

Ann-Reed: You recently experienced two different instances of near fatal abdominal trauma, raising your pain resistance.

Lan: Awesome! Though I probably should feel bad about that. Anyway, this guy has counter mechanics. Let's go!

Lan recovered and got back to his feet. He charged in again. The exact same approach as before. Obviously his opponent would be aware of an attempt to bait him with the same reaction. But the difference now was, Lan's attack was slower. So it made his strike easier to read. Lan wasn't aware that he was a bit slower, but L-C pulled back on the speed. His off hand, which was lagging behind switched to a gun mode and unleashed a blinding flash. His attack stopped and he changed his forehand to a cannon arm and fired a rapid shot at Helios at close range.

Lan: I feel kinda weird, what's happening?

Ann-Reed: While you have a higher resistance to pain now, it's too soon for your natural durability to have been increased. The repair system is still offline. You are internally bleeding again.

Lan: That's not good. We gotta finish this faster.

Lan started to get a little groggy. He began got an alert on a new system online, His boots unleashed oil on the floor that he could move on with no issue.

Lan began taking shot after shot from the yoyo barrage. He couldn't keep up with the speed, not enough to dodge. His computer Ann, and his Partner L-C worked together to get his arms in the way to block, but Lan was taking a lt of shots, a lot of damage and in a world of pain.

Lan:  Ow ow ow! Hey! Ow! I feel like ow I'm ow blocking with two ow ow ow broken arms ow ow ow! What can be done.

Ann-Reed:  Defense systems at 45%. Initiating additional defense data.

Lan'e vision got blurred. But the shots he was taking hurt a bit less, but with the damage done, it still hurt a lot.

Lan:  What's taking the defenses!?!

Ann-Reed: The lack of a stable energy supply hinders progress. Permission to access personal energy types: Ki and personal energy type Mana.

Lan:  Whatever you think is best. Fire it up!

Lan's new suit began converting his natural energies to his digitized armor. Giving a significant boost to his download and maintenence. His injuries began to heal slowly, signifying the system was at least online now. And he felt the pain ease away and he stopped taking damage to his body.

Lan: Whoa! That was fast! Fire up weapon systems next!

Ann-Reed: I advise against it. The system has halted taxing your energies as taking more can prove detrimental. Weapons system is still installing and updation using standard settings.

Lan: Nothing special. This will do just fine.

Lan lowered his hands, allowing himself to be hit by the yoyo frenzy. His arms turned to cannons as he fired a short range and weak fire attack at the floor. Not really paying too much attention to his surroundings and nearby people. His fire ignited the oil and caused the entire floor of the building to explode.

Lan stood motionless. His conversion reversed as he had blown through his own armor defenses and energy supplies with it.

Lan:  I don't think that was supposed to hurt like it did.

Ann-Reed:  Defense systems at 0%. Critical system failure. Emergency transition imminent.

Lan was converted back to normal, preventing him from being "deleted" as Ann's system ment into emergency repair mode. L-C was re-uploaded into his normal device. Lan to fell face first on the ground, for the third time in two days, he was en-route of dying. This time due to stress on his body's vital organs. Attributed to his lack of durability.
