Donata found her way towards the carnage  and stood along the sidelines, watching them while standing with the four  missing Mythos. She fought off the urge to both cease the session and the urge to actually coach the children.

Donata had turned her back to the fighting some time ago. She couldn't handle the sight of children taking and dishing out such abuse. But the current era of humanity allowed it, so she didn't bother voicing her opinion. She decided to just leave the bunch there and return to her own realm.

Dorie opened a book, flipped through the pages and began chanting. A geyser emerged from beneath King, it was extremely hot water, but it still made her from in disappointment.

Dorie: *Tch* that was supposed to be enchanted magma.

Dorie burned the page out of her book and began writing a new spell.

Bayle smiled at what had happened. And of course she decided to do something with the remains, piecing them together like pieces of various puzzles, crafting grotesque abominations, then reanimating them.

What did you learn about playing nice and being friendly?

She grinned at him. She would pick her moment to say "I told you so".

Ophelia smiled.

O- Indeed it would have. But had you done that. How little would you have today? Kindness is rewarded with treasures. Cruelty is rewarded with debt. You have quite the surplus as it stands, by using your kindness. It would be best to value what you have gained over mourning what you have lost. It took me some time to come to terms with who and what I am. I realized that no matter what, I am still me, and my family is still my family. And the fine details do not matter. I could have let my feeling consume me and toss me into the darkness. But I instead valued what I have and all I have gained.

Ophelia walked up to King and gave him a hug. She was brief, because she knows he both has an image to uphold and wasn't the hugging type. But she wanted him to know that she did care.

Dorie looked to be disgusted by the poison Ophelia was spewing from her mouth via words.

Dorie: I feel like you're throwing insults my way and disguising it at kindness towards another.

Dorie began writing in another spell to use if she ever got a hug.

Ophelia sighed in relief

O- Finally.... So, care to explain why some members of our family have appeared to live parallel lives with no recollection of most of us?

Ophelia took an interest to one of the kids connected to King. A boy who seemed to have two minds in one brain.

Dorie scoffed at the thought.

Dorie: One such as I, does not "play". So I will never have a "playmate". Mere children lack the maturity and dedication to crafts to even be worthy of my extended attention. If not for your vastly complicated circuits, You would have been dead ages ago. So you barely qualify.

Dorie's vast library of hyper-specific spells ran into roadblocks when dealing with deeply complicated individuals. And not many would even qualify to be called deeply complicated for her.

Bayle smiled a most sinister smile.

It's always the number Three isn't it? I'm beginning to feel as if we are a family of fractions. Three versions of you. A set of three sisters, crafted all at once through artificial means. You having a set of triplets. An Ex-Wife with three faces. A daughter with three faces. I'm beginning to thing each set of three are all meant to be one.

She disappeared before anyone could question her intentions. But she had made them all quite clear before leaving.

Baine was rendered speechless. His bond with his mother was gone. All he could see was that she killed his mother.

Baine snapped out of his deep thought process when a cold hand touched his shoulder.

Baine: No... Not dead. My mother would already be haunting me if that was the case. Though my shadow bond with her is broken. I know Doll fairly well. That was a deception. It had to be. She's not so straight forward as to do something like kill them so anticlimactically.

Thought over the conversation and looked even more surprised when he realized something.

Baine: Wait! Remember the last thing my mother said? Then what Doll said before and after making them disappear? And the last word she used. Now that I think about it. She was trying to get us to see it sooner. My mom wanted to test her theory to combine herself with the other two. Doll showed up and mentioned not wanted another of herself appearing. And the last thing she did was call you brother. I don't think she killed them. I think she IS them. She turned them into spheres, put them together, then they vanished. If she wanted to kill them, she would have just assassinated them. That would have been to her code as an assassin. I think she may have merged them with herself. perhaps to gain something she didn't already have.

He looked at King.

Baine: She invited you when you had calmed down. She knew she left enough clues to be figured out eventually. 

He took a seat on the floor. Mind absolutely blown by this.
