Max was second to reach the meetup.

Max}- So, no luck again huh? Bummer.

Max leaned on a pole waiting for the other two.

Ringo was nearing them when she stopped and turned the other way.

"Hurry Up gramps! They're waitin on us!"

Ringo waved to him as he was busy with idle conversations with random locals.

Max smiled at everyone.

Max}- So no rumors or anything huh? Well, as for me. My sister mentioned Avalon to me. I haven't heard anything from her since. And my brother has been missing for awhile now. But Avalon's a long way away. Plenty of stops between here and there. So, any leads at all guys?

Max looked between the other three.

Shiroyuki sighed.

Shiro: No one has heard anything new. Just what the local media puts out on my family. But I have heard rumors of a knight being seen around town. But I've had no luck in finding him myself.

The group lacked someone who wears armor. They ran into quite a bit of trouble because of the lack of a defender. Shiro was an aspiring strategist and often manipulated battlefields. Ringo and Asia were the muscle of the group, and Max was their healer. With a knight, their group would be balanced.

Ringo pouted at Asia briefly before laughing along with him until Max and Shiro mentioned their search and then the knight information.

"A knight? Well shucks, let's all put in the effert to find'em!"

Ringo began looking around the immediate area.

Lancelot circled the group.

Samuel- Nice! Fine! I'll join you guys! Thank the cute girls for saving your skin. Since cute girls are a positive two, and guys are a minus one, old guys are a minus two. I count as a plus one, so the group averages at plus two. Nice to meet you. Call me Lancelot!

He decided now was a good time to do a dab.

Lancelot quickly turned to block using the shield on his back.

Samuel- That's because armor is a liability these days. The up tick in mages made armor a problem. Too hot, Too cold or an electric attack and the Knight goes bye bye. Unless he has enchanted armor, now that is rare. So, how do you like my turtle style defense? Pretty awesome right? Don't let the swag fool you. I'm pretty good at using a shield and sword. Don't need a suit with these.

He kissed his shield and sword.

Shiroyuki went for a thrust with her sword, aimed between his eyes. He blocked the point but got hit with a jolt of electricity.

Shiro: Elemental resistances?

She wanted to see if he could handle elemental attacks.

Ringo aimed an axe kick towards the top of his head.

"Multi-attack reaction."

Ringo had to see if he could be trusted with their lives.

Lancelot used the jolt to give himself an energy surge just to block the axe kick with his shield.

Samuel- Man! You ladies are the truth! If my heart wasn't already sworn to another. I would definitely have a hard time trying to pick which one of you I like better.

He looked at Max, expecting him to try as well.

Max waved off his look.

Max}- Just a healer dude. I don't fight.

Max had one gift that was pretty nifty if he ever battled a mage. But he never does.

Shiroyuki put away her weapon.

Shiro: Personality aside. He is exactly what we're looking for. So is everyone ready to depart.

She was ready to move on to the next town.

Riza crashed out of nowhere, just outside of the town.
