Hauntavia watched them search while holding onto the book they were looking for. She had no interest in it's contents. She just had it because they wanted it. 

Hauntavia watched and waited for the very moment he slipped into his death slumber and siphoned his soul right into the palm of her hand. The man was nowhere near done suffering now that he fell into her grasp. While he definitely would suffer even greater pains. He would be far from useless to her while he suffered.

I wonder what's more interesting, a book written in strange text on sin, the person who did so much to get his hands on it, or the one who actually held and protected it for so long. So many angles to look and so many answers.

Hauntavia was fairly sure she would lure out King with the book.

Hauntavia looked closely at the tormented sou in her hand and smiled.

In return for the book. I want to borrow you for about a minute or two. The next two minutes to be exact. You are strength incarnate. And That's something I would like to borrow for a moment. A minute to be certain, but truth be told, I only need to borrow you for a moment.

Hauntavia was clearly not talking to the soul in her hand. Though someone unknowing would suspect that she was.

Hauntavia didn't hesitate to grab his hand. Almost as soon as she had all that power she gave it all right back. She then laughed her half annoying, half spooky laugh before she responded.

Having that much strength. If only people knew who they were messing with. The power to end all life on the planet if you so desired. Yet you never did take a step so big. And you were curious to see If I would take a massive step, so recklessly with that power. It's good to see my theory worked out in my favor.

Hauntavia nodded.

I am a being whom exclusively uses Astral energy. I'm not capable of using or making other forms of energy such as mana. And I cannot siphon it either. The only way I can take such a thing like Mana, is if it's given to me. But still, I can't use it. Astral energy for me is replenished almost as fast as us consume it. But, the problem is, my capacity for any time of energy is fairly low. So even though I have an endless supply. I can only hold so much at a time, so anything I use astral energy far is limited. In other worlds. I don't have enough energy to do big things, just an infinite number of little things. The reason I needed your energy was to forcibly raise my maximum capacity by the amount of energy you gave me. And as soon as I gave it all back, the "empty space" left by your energy was filled with my own.

Hauntavia laughed again.

I needed your energy to climb higher on the food chain. And for your help. I have decided to entertain you when I feel like it.

Hauntavia noticed a fly on a desk. She put the soul into the fly, then crushed it with a book, and again pulled the soul back to her hand.

Hauntavia captured the soul of the latest victim. The first she captured and the new were manifested as ghost-like creatures with no real free will. She sent them out to possess their living relatives and push them to suicide and forcing their souls to join their ranks.

Someone who actually gets it.

Hauntavia started raising the dead as zombies

So, what of that monster you keep hidden?

Hauntavia floated up, over his head.

Hauntavia created a set of doors, using her newly acquired mass of astral energy.

I think he can be the missing piece of a puzzle.

Hauntavia smiled

If the world were to crumble, then it's the creator's fault for making it so weak. 

Hauntavia made the doors all open.

Hinatara walked through first,

"What's this? Did someone learn to lower his gaze.... No, his blinders removed and now he can see."

Hina smiled at King.

Kabuni stepped in 

"A couple of perfect candidates, that's for sure."

Kabuni walked around King.

Sabella entered through a door.

It matters not, this body is but a proxy. A simple introduction hardly warrants appearing in person. Besides, I have a city to run. 

Sabella's proxy started to resist. The illusion faded momentarily, revealing the proxy to be an sickly man.

Charles made himself visible.

CW: And allow me to introduce myself. Not the the pea brain, but to Mrs. Armor(King). I am the personal assistant and the right hand of Lady Hauntavia. Captain Sabotage- Charles Wootz. And what might yoube called? Perhaps Mistress Steel?

He, for some reason, thought King was a woman. Mainly because most people were women for some reason.

Charles pulled off a perfect clone of Alexis Benjamin including the voice. Though his choice of words rarely did as he often ran his own spin on people's personalities.
