Lan was about to complain, having no idea how to use it since it had no keyboard or mouse. But before he could say a word, it started making the blueprints for his project.

Lan: Whoa!

Lan was amazed that it even knew when he wanted it to run something, filtering through his thoughts like some kind of psychic.

Lan: This is amazing! Thank's Aria!

Lan got locked in to teh computer's various features.

Lan nodded and stretched out his arms.

Lan: I'm getting kinda hungry. And all this work is hurting my head. I wish we were dining in at the best restaurant in town.

Lan were transported to a fine dining restaurant, both severely under dressed for the occasion, but the Creed's celebrity allowed them to dine in. The place found itself surrounded by the press, trying to peak in at Lan's life to start writing rumors. At the table that had menus, both had a glass of water, and a basket of bread rolls to share.

Lan: Oh wow, I think my mom and dad came here once. But they said it was overpriced.

Lan looked at the menu and saw what they were talking about. One menu item cost as much as a new car.

Lan went quiet and scratched the side of his face during a long silence. He took a deep breath and looked at Aria.

Lan: Well the past few days have been a huge pain for me. Up until earlier today, I actually wanted to fight you. ya know, for getting my butt kicked by you. But then i saw a video of you and what you did to some bandits. I realized that you're way too strong for me. In fact, I didn't think people got that strong. I was terrified by that. But then i remember someone telling me that you would make a "valuable friend" or something along those lines. Before I could even try to find you. You teleported me in Claymore, then I got jumped and stabbed by some guys. Then you saved me I think. And since then, we've been hanging out. I forgot all about trying to be your friend as a benefit. Because you like video games and you gave me a great idea for how I can be someone special like everyone else. And while I was on the computer, I thought about it a lot, well, I thought about you a lot.

Lan scratched his head.

Lan: I hate sounding all sappy and lame, talking about stuff like this. But it's the truth. So I guess you can say that, yeah. I think I do have a crush on you.

Lan paused for a second and began scratching his head feverishly out of frustration.

Lan: Why am I saying so much! I'm so lame!

Lan covered his face.

Lan was quiet for  minute before standing up and bowing his head awkwardly.

Lan: Th-then, W-will you be my girlfriend!?

Lan got the attention of everyone when he asked. A woman chuckled and a man just nodded in approval of his courage. Some were a bit worse an began mumbling insults. But he kept his position and waited for an answer.

Lan watched in horror, as people's remains squirmed around him. He literally missed everything that happened after the boss got boned because it all happened faster than he could see.

Lan: Aria! Why did you kill all of these people!?! Yeah they were jerks and all, but you didn't have to kill them! Now your going to get arrested!

Lan was growing very frustrated with all of the negative emotions. From being sick, sad, angry and scared all at once. It made him want to puke. He instead spoke to Aria, in hopes there was something like a secret assassination plot against him that she just stopped.

The entrance door flew open and an extremely bright light emerged from the opened doorway. The sound of a heel clicking on the floor and Eve stood in the illuminated doorway. She surveyed the room to see exactly what happened. She stepped forward until she was standing in the dining area. She stood with her sword to the ground and her hands resting on the hilt. She glanced at Lan, and then at Aria.

I once wondered who Aria was, when not standing in the shadow of Adagio. Now, I can see. Also, I am very disappointed. Someone with such tempered strength would use it in such a savage and immature manner. You still have much to learn. Unfortunately, the penalty for your crimes on this day, is death. I will be your executioner.

She raised her sword and pointed it at Aria. A direct challenge to her in a fight to the death.

Genevieve awaited her next barrage. When they came, she decided to instead, deflect all of her strings to hurt her balance and slow her counter speed. She still only used a single hand.

There is no ambition behind your strikes. Just primal instincts.

She waited for Aria's attacks to stop. When she did, Eve swing a strike of her own. Aria tried blocking but found herself getting hammered backwards. The moment she hit the wall, Eve was right in front of her and began slashing, hitting her with thousands of papercut-like hits. She was doing so to over tax her natural healing to a point where it would eat away at her stamina. She was setting up for a finishing strike

Anna sat down at a table after stealing every bottle of expensive adult beverages from each table. She set the bottles down and popped one open and started drinking while Eve and Aria were fighting.

Anna~ Try not to drag it over here.

She opened a beer so she had beer in one hand, wine in the other. She alternated between them.

Genevieve and put away her sword, taking a strike from Aria who stopped afterwards.

It's as mother said. You really are the purest of monsters. It would be rude of me to suggest working with my sister. But I do have an alterior motive for being here. I wish to observe and learn from you. And I would ask if you are opposed to traveling with My sister.

She knew she wasn't one to work for anyone. But traveling with someone was different. A free ride to wherever she wanted to go would be an unrivaled benefit.

Lan looked confused.

Lan: Wait.. I thought you were arresting her. What about the people?

Lan looked up at Eve who seemed colder than normal.

Genevieve looked down at Lan with her usual scowl.

What about them? Does it bother you that she killed them? Does it bother you that I don't give a damn about them? If it bothers you, do something about it. If you want her arrested, then arrest her. I'm not holding your hand anymore. Learn to stand and walk on your own Lan. Walk to where you want to go.

She started walking to the exit. She had a ship to catch.

Marinette smiled as she entered the room through a white portal.

M.Draco: Some people find strength in others. There is nothing wrong with that. Not everyone can lead. You just have to follow the best example of who you want to become. My name is Marinette. Young man, what is your ideal life? Not for your future, but for today. Looking to the future for an answer today will only bring you harm.

She had an extremely calming aura about her that completely nullified both stress and anger.

Lan thought about it. It was easier to think without pressure, rage and worry. 

Lan: To be honest. My ideal life is having a lot o fun. Having a good time with my girlfriend, without her killing people like today. Everything else was nice though. Also be nice If I could kick ass like my sisters. Be good at business like my dad. Good at people skills like my mom. I guess my ideal life if being the guy everyone I care about can count on, and being able to protect the people I care about. And being someone my girlfriend can be proud of too. So that maybe we can get married some day. But yeah, you said not to look into the future. So being the guy she would like em to be would be cool too.

Lan didn't expect a thing. But he actually had some direction to work with.

Marinette gave him a hug and shrouded the entire room in a blinding light. It felt like she was bestowing on him an insane amount of energy. But really, she was gathering energy and using it to destroy small fragments of his spirit. She removed his ability to feel certain negative emotions which naturally enhances the remaining ones. She actually gave him nothing however.

M.Draco: My light of Salvation has given all you asked. I bid you farewell.

She left through the white portal, and the blinding light faded after the portal was gone.

Lan looked around. Physically, he felt light a weight was lifted off his shoulders. He felt very confident now. He felt like he could take on the world. He looked to Aria.

Lan: We're going to gather all of there ID's. We're going to earn money and send their families care packages. Something to help them. While these guys were no good. Their families are likely clean and bound to struggle without them. We'll say a vicious monster did it. While it's technically true. They won't suspect you because your hands are normally small and cute. But no more mass massacres okay? If something like that happens, we'll do things the long way with as few injuries as possible. Or you can just let me handle everything okay?

Lan gave her a smile and a thumbs up.

Lan buckled on the floor.

Lan: I won't forget...This pain will remind me forever.

Lan was amazed by how strong she was. At school, he couldn't feel anything, so he had no idea her hits would hurt so much. It felt worse then being stabbed. HE had to see the doctor after this. Make sure he wasn't bleeding internally.
