Excel placed her hands on Sonata's shoulders

Listen Sonata. There are things you have to learn if i'm going to make you into a great and glorious hero.

Excel sighed.

First, never raise up your skirt in public or at a strangers residence. Especially not in front of men or a woman named Iria. And you must never ever be seen without wearing proper underwear.

Excel hoped what she said sunk in, but even she doubted it at this point.

Sonata gave her a salute

Aye aye! Now let's fight!

She grabbed Excel's hand, transforming her into a sword. She made attempt to stab him right between the eyes. She was surprisingly sturdy and precise with her attack, it seemed like she was skilled at swordplay.

Sonata caught the incoming attack with her teeth by simply dropping down sitting on her heels. It was the easiest way to not risk flipping her skirt. The blade of Excalibur seemed to have disappeared when she did. She kicked Leon away and examined the blade of her sword.

Are you broken swordy? My teeth feel funny.

She didn't notice but the blade was actually capping her teeth when she went to bite Black Excalibur. After a distance was gained from Leon. She decided to pretend being a swordsman again. She looked very serious and the blade of Excalibur returned, but then the sword took on the appearance of Masamune. She took on a pose like an old Samurai quick draw event. And just like that, in a blink, she was behind Leon with her back to him. She was eating a taco, which she decided to grab instead of delivering an attack.

Excel spoke directly into Sonata's mind.

You like to imitate things you've seen somewhere. Try to imitate someone you really like, or someone you respect. Someone who you know very well. Someone you can imitate for a long time.

Excel wanted to see if she could help her develop a unique style by meshing together styles she was fond of.

Sonata listened intently to Excel while being bounced around, and while also trying to not let her skirt ride up on her. She didn't have to think of that person. To imitate this one was a bit tricky. But she would try her best. She gave up on watching out for her skirt and instead lied down on the ground. When the attack on her ended, she yawned and lied on her back and began stretching. Excalibur changed back to normal and then appeared a hole in the hilt. She spun Excalibur around on her finger.

Must I really entertain you children.

She yawned again. Excalibur slipped off her finger and went right at Leon's head, he tilted his head to the side to dodge. Literally right behind him was Sonata, who had caught Excalibur and was aiming to stab him in the back of his head with a huge grin on her face. She had shown no sign of ever moving, but she clearly wasn't where she started.

Excel changed back to human form so Sonata only punched him on the head.

Let's never do that again shall we. I'll train you normally.

Excel actually felt pure evil radiating from her when she went to attack. This girl embodied the spirit of the people she imitated. She was a lot different from anyone she ever encountered to this point.

Momoko stood up and walked over to Sonata.

"You move way too fast and well to be an amateur. So this time try fighting how you fight okay."

Momoko pulled a sword from her hair. It's one she would use for practice and she handed it to Sonata.

Sonata nodded and took on a fencer's stance. She had a dopey grin on her face. Until she bit into a taco. She didn't drop her stance though.

Aurrur Rehyee?

She waited for a response even though she was hardly making any kind of words with her mouth full.

Sonata hit the wall hard, but pushed off it as soon as she hit the wall. She dashed very fast and went right past him. She poked stuck the sword in the ground, causing her to spin and kick Leon with both feet. She dashed to the table and grabbed a taco then started humming after she ate it. She tossed her sword at him much like she did earlier. This time he attempted to deflect it, only the sword didn't fly off. Sonata was humming while still moving like she was sword fighting, but she was across the room and yet her sword still moved as if she were holding it.

Aha! i got you now!

She began moving around very fast while controlling her sword. She moved around getting both closer and farther away. He had to watch her sword and keep up with her at the same time. Trying to focus too much on either would leave an opening, which is what she was waiting for. The moment he tried to cast a range spell, the sword spun like a buzzsaw which grabbed his attention right back, and in that brief moment she hit him in the cheek with her knee. But she wasn't used to hand to hand combat and pretty much ended up hitting the wall herself, with her head getting stuck in it.

Excel seemed to be in a much better mood now that she saw the girl's style.

Inexperience aside, I am impressed. You can use a lot of work all around. But you have very good vision. And that's the hardest thing to teach.

Excel noticed her attention to detail. A person that fast with a sword can deal a lethal blow to anyone. But she elected non-lethal actions instead. She could very well be the first monster to become a great and glorious hero. She pulled Sonata from the wall.

Tell me Sonata. How would you like be a great hero?

Excel waited intently. for a favorable answer.

Sonata shrugged as she was now assembling a taco and some nachos.

Yes please!

She had no idea what a hero was.

Amora opened a small portal and stuck her hand inside.

Amora slowly started pulling something out. Everyone began feeling a ridiculous pressure that forced them to the ground. Excluding Amora but including both Vale and Excel.

Yeah, just as I thought. No one's ready to see it. The strongest of the celestial weapons.

Amora took her hand out of the portal and closed it.

Momoko smiled

"Really? Awesome! I'm not much of a fighter though. I have a daughter that would just love to spar though. Two actually. Only one uses swords though."

Although she called her daughter, she was over twice Momoko's age, though she has some serious memory lapses that makes her act childish sometimes. The other was just two years younger than Momoko.

Momoko tilted her head.

"You mean in that other life or whatever then? Because I don't know anything about a sword."

She went digging in her hair to make sure.

The crystal shattered releasing Zita who was stuck inside it.

Zita turned her attention to the monster present. She stared at her, waiting for her to do something evil.

Sonata circled Zita and eventually climbed under her dress.

She was trying her best to see.

Azula appeared next to Momoko.

When I saw you not reading your boos. I feared something had happened. Are you okay mother?

She hugged Momoko.

Dorie appeared on the other side of Momoko.

"I told you mother would be fine. You worry entirely too much."

Dorie sighed. She caught eye of Leon and stared at him so hard, she seemed to be trying to look through him.

"There is something irritatingly familiar about that boy."

Dorie proceeded to poke him over and over, trying to figure out why he was so familiar and why it annoyed her so much.

Zita grabbed Sonata's ankles and pulled her from under her dress.

Zita noticed the girl's skirt flipped from being held upside down. Zita turned her upright and looked away from her.

Zita looked back at Sonata and tapped her forehead. A massive pillar of light engulfed her. With it, she was being cleansed of all impurities and sins.
