While she seemed reckless, especially by explaining her problem out loud. She was mainly stalling anyway. Kishonda and Justin were fighting for what felt like days. But the tension between them had been lost ages ago.

-So it sounds like your partner can't help but think about you like a little brother or a son instead of an equal. It must be hard, trying to prove yourself to her without outright telling her, in risk of making her mad or hurting her feelings. But aren't your feelings hurt by bottling it all in?-

By this point Justin was only still fighting this lady because it was fun and he was learning a lot. He'd never gotten a chance to be this active before. Having real time combat data was helping to resolve a lot of the bugs and glitches in his system. 

Cara has a tough time with verbal communication. She's happiest when she can talk with her fist. That's why she gets all flustered an stuff when she can't hit someone.

He'd switched purely to the defensive, blocking blows with his chainsaw-sword, or deflecting them with his clawed hand. His weapons form had changed somewhat, due to being improved using data he extracted from hers.

I don't really mind having to keep stuff in too much. I can always go complain to one of my siblings. Or spar with David. But I'm the only one my partner will open up to, so I gotta be patient.

He abruptly went on the offensive, a drill fist punch followed by a rapid series of jackhammer kicks. As the fight wore on he began changing parts of his body to add variety and unpredictability to his attacks. If he saw her going to block one of his kicks, he immediately morphed his leg into a chainsaw blade.

Rondelle popped in between them and blocked with a wind shell.

Rondelle: I've been looking for you for a day now. That crap with Ronda is over. Everyone lost that fight.

Rondelle broke the seal on the realm and returned them to the real world. The three were standing on the ground where there was nothing remaining from the day before.

Kishonda was cooperating one hundred percent. If arrested for any reason, it's not likely she would fight back anyway.

-To be fair, I was following instructions of my superior in law enforcement. But I will admit that it was at the very least a capital moral violation, and I shouldn't have even tried it. I will accept any punishment given, even if it's the death penalty. And for what it's worth. I'm very sorry for what I did. I hope that someday, you and Ms. Cara can find it in your hearts to forgive me for what I tried to do. Even if i'm gone by then.-
