I think of magic as a very flashy way to do little. To study for years to have a broom clean your room, or to burn a house down is ridiculous. It's programmed for anyone with mana to use since she didn't know my particular signature. I think It can be reverse engineered.

She didn't test it much, because it didn't have a gauge for limiting mana usage. She wasn't a mage and didn't know if using it too much could be fatal.
