Helios tried not to scratch for as long as he could, but soon it was impossible. He rolled around on the floor, scratching and clawing at himself, to no avail. The itch was everywhere, getting more and more intense. Even on his insides. His brain even itched. Soon it was all he could feel. !!!!!!!!!!!!! Helios began violently slamming his head against the reinforced floor, over and over again.

Maria used her staff to freeze him in place and remove the curse. "Now you know the penalty for attacking me. Now tell me why you did and why i don't see Helena." Maria handed him a healing tonic to recover from most of his self inflicted injuries.

Helios guzzled down the tonic and laid flat on the floor, staring blankly off into space. "Inhumane" didn't even begin to describe what he'd just experienced. Well.... The negative force within him had swelled in response to his suffering. It felt like static electricity crackling over his skin. It had been a long time since something bad enough to make his energy grow this much had happened to him. He was going to have to get used to it all over again. Helena is one of three keys to doomsday. An that lady...the whole time she was here, it felt like Deaths scythe was right at our throats... Helios told Maria everything he'd learned about the situation from the various conversations he'd sat in on.

Maria was beyond angry after hearing everything, not at all at Helios any longer. "We still have time since the end hasn't happened. If her being near had you so rattled that you would knock me out. I'm sure you could find her from anywhere then. Right?" Maria began preparing her things to make the trip.

Helios nodded and got off the floor. Yeah. All I gotta do is focus on the places I wanna be in the absolute least. She'll be one of'em. There were several places in the world he avoided like the plague for various reasons.  What are you planning on doing? He wasn't sure what they even could do at this point.

Maria finished packing then grabbed her battle staff that was also her witch's broom. "First i'm going to tell her how I feel about her. Then i'm going to insure Helena is okay. After that i'll take her back. She's my familiar first. Everything else I could care less about. And listen carefully. If things get ugly. You get out and take Helena with you. Hopefully it won't come to that." Maria walked outside and set her broom to hover. She stood up on the back of it, and would let Helios fly it.

Helios scratched his head. You realize i'm not gonna ditch you just cause you told me too, right? Smiling, he jumped on the broom.  An you can't make me, either. Protecting you overrules anything else. Gotta love loopholes. Helios started up the broom an took off.
