My apologies. I've never worked with a partner in any of my various activities of the past. Old habits die hard, I suppose.

Walking to the desk, he picked up the jar.

It was wrong of me to neglect you. I would like to make that up to you, as a first step in changing my outdated views on certain things.

His hate for the gods was the first thing that needed to go. After learning the truth from the balance goddess, he realized that emotion was nothing but a string used to manipulate him like a puppet. Still, breaking said string was easier said than done.
