Minerva pulled her at the last moment.

Minerva
*And how many times do I have to tell you not to stray too far? I know it's hard for you, but you won't be able to see with your eyes until we can get you fixed up. Do be patient and let Skylar handle that for you.*

Minerva held her hand so she  wouldn't risk hurting herself.

*Wait a second.... You were just looking around a moment ago. Can you see anything at all Athena? Is your vision recovering?*

Minerva started examining her eyes.

Vernon folded his arms while walking to Ghaleon.

"And like clock work, here you are. With all the gadgets you come up with, you never once made a suitable alarm. It would at least save me the burden of walking here day to day to get you. Training is over with for today. So go ahead and fix the damned thing already."

Vernon began walking back to the training room, expecting Ghaleon to follow him.

Patrick was in the training room with Skylar and Selene.

Patrick: Almost, but you still got a bit to go before you can really fight anyone.

Patrick yawned.

Vernon smirked

"You would be surprised to know it was one of you egg heads who broke everything. Your sister to be specific."

Vernon looked over his shoulder to see his expression.

Selene stood in front of Skylar.

Selene: Alright mom, to finish up, we'll end just like yesterday. We got two minutes to throw five hundred punches. Ready... Go!

Selene and Skylar began throwing straight punches, each time clashing their fists. It was to get Skylar used to using Ki for defense without thinking about it. Selene set the pace and Sky had to keep up. They got faster and faster, trying to reach the goal by the deadline. They continued until they heard the buzzer when the clock hit zero. At that point they put more Ki into their hands for one last short.

Selene: Finish strong!

Selene and Sky tossed a hard Ki punch to finish the cool down.

Selene: I felt that one! Nice!

Selene walked on side of Skylar and pat her on the back.

Skylar was breathing really hard. She improved a lot, but it was still hard to keep up with their crazy training.

Skylar watched as Jr. and Vernon entered. She greeted them with a big silly grin.

Hey guys! Hey look bro! I actually broke it myself today! I'm getting really strong ya know! I wanna show mom and dad when they get back. But you know how those love birds are. It'll probably be another few months before they come back.

Skylar saw Vernon's annoyed face whens peaking about them.

Aww cheer up grumpy man! I didn't forget about our date or anything. But first things first. A shower, then I help my brother with fixing up this place and working a few hours in the lab. Then we'll go out, so be patient okay?

Skylar ran over and gave him a hug because she knew he hated displays of affection.

Momoko poked her head in the doorway.

"We're Back!"

Momoko surprised them by returning home earlier than expected.

"Your dad is a bit behind, he ended up catching a stomach bug so we hurried back early. So how has everyone been while we were gone?"

Momoko gave hugs to everyone, even those who didn't want any.

Astraea entered a moment later with a tablet displaying training statistic. When she saw Momoko, her face lit up with a bright smile.

Astraea: Welcome back Grandma Moko! I missed you guys.

She ran over and gave her a hug.

Patrick gave Momoko a fist bump.

Patrick: Hey, welcome back! Did he by any chance catch a stomach bug because of food?

Patrick circled her with his eyes firmly on her hair, wondering if she brought home any foreign food.

Momoko hugged Astraea back.

"I missed you all too! And you know i didn't forget you Patrick."

Momoko pulled a large bag filled with sealed food trays from her hair.

"You share with everyone and no eating in the lab!"

Momoko picked up Jr. and gave him his own big hug before setting him back down. She noticed something odd about him.

"What's wrong, you're uncharacteristically quiet. Did something happen while I was gone? Are you sick? !"

Momoko checked his forehead for a fever.

Selene slipped out to go check on her grandfather, who she found staring into the distance on a beach.

Selene: Hey Grandpa! Grandma said you were sick, but you look fine. Why are ya out here by yourself?

Selene stared off into the distance herself.

Selene: It's a little crowded inside. I'm not a big fan of large crowds.

Selene folded her arms.

Selene smiled up at him.

Selene: It's been mostly getting mom up to standard. She catches on fast. Though she tends to over train which ends up with her hurting herself. But even that doesn't keep her down for long. Mom plans to challenge uncle when she's strong enough. That's gonna be fun to see.

Selene sighed.

Selene: But because of that, my own training has been lagging a bit. In the long run it's worth it though. Ya know, I was shocked to hear you guys had come back so soon. You must be getting old if a stomach bug brought you two all the way back. You and granny tend to be gone a lot. You guys are so lovey-dovey for old people. It's sorta gross.

Selene found most interactions between loving people were gross.

Selene shuddered at the thought.

Selene: I'll pass on both. Magic fights get too complicated. And Grandma Moko is way too complicated. Half way into the last training session we were eating cake. I don't know how or why.

Selene was really not the magic type. She had a pretty straight forward and smash-mouth style.

Selene: Something fun must have really happened if you of all people are interested in training me of all people. Are you secretly trying to find a weakness in my style or something? Nah, I bet your trying to secretly learn my style.

Selene laughed at the thought of him using a Ki style.

Skylar returned the thumbs up.

Skylar waved to Momoko.

Hey mom! Sorry for the no hug. I'm a bit on the sweaty side.

Skylar headed for the door.

Going to take my shower. Catch you all in a few.

Skylar walked out, already feeling sore.

Athena looked to who the voice was coming from and couldn't really tell. Her vision was slowly clearing but it would be some time before she could recognize faces.

Athena: Trying to figure out why my eyes aren't working right. I can't see well. I can make out some things, But its too blurry.

She was getting frustrated with her lack of vision.

Minerva stared at her for a moment then smirked.

*So, you're from the real world then. Or should I say, you're the real Athena. Did you come alone, or did you enter with others?*

Minerva walked her off the path to hide so they could talk privately for a few moments.

Eclipse approached the two on the beach. She walked so she would be standing near them. Unsure if she was supposed to exist here or not. She stood there quietly, about twenty yards away from them waiting to see if either would recognize her.

"Looks like i'm not here after all."

She sighed and stared into the distance, thinking up a plan.

Selene tapped him on top of his head.

Selene: Hey gramps, who's that?

Selene pointed a thumb back at Eclipse. She looked familiar but she couldn't figure what it was.

Eclipse looked Selene in the eyes.

"That's not true. My name is Eclipse. I am your and Astraea's sister. My father's name is Lancelot. You, Me and Astraea were not born normally. We were crafted in a lab with the intent of replicating the natural skill our mother had known as Technokinesis. Where she is able to craft and understand technology with her mind alone. Among the three of us, i'm the only one with complete technokinesis, you two have a lesser version that allows you to understand technology simply by looking at it. This world is a dream land known as Emanation. Known simply as "The Dream" to most. And I do understand and agree that this story sounds absolutely insane. Explaining it even makes me feel stupid. But this, what i say is the reality. You can choose to believe me or not. I have no method of proving what I say to be right or wrong. And to be totally honest, I don't really care if you believe me or not.

She had a plan, and Skylar was the only person she needed to convince to leave this world.

Eclipse folded her arms.

"Darn it. I didn't think there was another deity involved. It makes sense though. Since Twontinia won't enter the world herself. In that case i'm going to lay low. I'll step in if things go south. And be mindful of what spells you use here. We don't know what does and doesn't exist, but i'm almost certain a sleep spell is a red flag. By making her sleep, you probably forced her into her real body. Where she will think she's dreaming but is actually awake. If only we could inform someone to talk to her. She may be able to fully wake up in case things go bad with that goddess."

She began shuffling through ideas.
