Ki-Sha sat at the teacher's desk, she had her feet up and was drinking whiskey out of a coffee mug. It wasn't to get drunk. She was using it to get fired up. She was very excited about getting to teach kids. They would range from five to sixteen. The seventeen year old's were likely to show up and take a graduation exam. While she drank, she was using her false hand to shine up her MNRL championship title belt with a cloth.

Ki- Probably should have showed up late. Seems like I should have.

Ki-Sha tossed a basketball at the back wall very fast, it bounced back and she punched it. She kept hitting it like a speed bag. Anyone who would get hit by that would be knocked out.

Aria was escorted into class against her will by campus security after getting caught cutting class, stealing food and painting graffiti all over the school. She hissed at security before taking a seat in the back corner near the back exit.

An this may surprise you but...99.99% of the worlds population falls in that category. 

She waited for their surprised reactions to quiet down.
I know what your thinking. There are a LOT of people in the world with mystical powers, right? That's just the thing. The vast majority of them are NOT mystical in nature. The problem is that humanity has a really bad habit of labeling nearly everything they can't explain "magic". Truth of the matter is that there are many sources of power in this world. Which one you actually have is something you'll be learning here.
She pointed at Baine.
For example, the bird kid here. His power is derived from the darkness element. An he has a strong connection to the realm of shadows, so can probably use a lot of warping and teleport type powers. He has mana, but it's mostly untapped at present. As for the rest of you, there's a wide variety of powers in this class. A very small number of you are magic users.
Tasha waited to see if there was anyone who wasn't sure if they were or not.

Baine: A spot on analysis Ms. Star. I'm Baine by the way. And I haven't been properly trained in the usage of magic. Instead i try to learn through mimicry of my mother. I must say i'm quite curious to know who does and who doesn't use magic.

He was struck down by lightning, reducing his HP to zero because his response was too mature. He lied there confused, yet he wasn't hurt.

It was really strange that there was only one powerless child in this whole huge class. Tasha wondered if the school principle was doing this on purpose.

Myla kept hitting Goku until his HP was at one. She only stopped because her TP had hit zero.

Myla couldn't put up any offense now. All she could do was go to her seat. She noticed her TP was set to auto recovery when she sat down. She now knew something about the system at play and she grinned, waiting for her TP to fill up so she could attack again.

Jr. rested his cheek on his hand, his fingers drumming against his desk.

I've gotten zapped 10 times in this one class...

Why was that? He'd noticed it was always the same people that got their HP hit. An always while they were talking.

There's some kinda rule we're breaking. Something the smarter kids keep tripping over...

He mulled over it while watching the fight about to break out. The teacher didn't look like she planned to do anything. But he guessed their was no need, thanks to the funny hp system.

Aria stood up and grabbed her desk. She hit him in the head with itand knocked him down. She beat him with it until her TP hit zero. Then she repeatedly hit him with fire spells until her MP hit zero. His HP was at zero after the initial shot. 

Aria::: stupid pile of shit.

She set her desk back up and sat back down.
